Folk Dance Ensemble “Rastko”

“Rastko” has been part of the St Sava Church in London for over 30 years.  It has consistently worked hard to encourage children and young people to maintain their Serbian cultural traditions. The ensemble encourages and preserves the folk dances, which are a very important part of our nation’s traditions. Since its formation “Rastko” has accomplished much in both Great Britain as well as in other European countries, Canada, America and Australia and represents its very own St Sava Church with pride.  The group regularly hosts other ensembles from Serbia and the diaspora.

School of Folk Dance

The school accepts children from the age of 7.  All rehearsals take place on Sundays in the Dom Nikolaja Building.
