The six-month memorial service for the late Prota Radomir Aćimović will be held on Saturday, 21 March 2026, at 1.00 pm, at the Serbian Cemetery in Brookwood.

The eighteen Serbian month in Great Britain starts on 24th January and lasts until 8th March 2026. The Catalogue of the Serbian Month is available HERE.

Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Radomir Aćimović was born on Vidovdan (St. Vitus Day) in 1944 near Čačak. Since September 1995, he had served in our London parish, having come from Derby. Together with Father Milun and the late Dragan Stepković, he led spiritual discussions every Thursday in our community, leaving a deep and lasting impression among the faithful. He was married to the late Presbytera Radmila, with whom he had two daughters. In the peace of faith and gratitude, we remember him with love and pray that the Lord grant rest to his soul in the dwellings of the righteous.

The funeral will be on November 1, 2025. After the Divine Liturgy, which begins at 10:00, the funeral rite (opelo) will be held at 11:30 at the Church of St Sava in London. The burial will take place at Brookwood Cemetery at 14:00.

Memory eternal!
