London church flood aid shipment reaches Doboj
Warm-hearted volunteers gathered at Sv Sava's Church in London on the 2nd and 15th of August to sort, pack, label and load the final consignment of aid destined for Doboj in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, following floods which devastated the region in May this year. The consignment reached Doboj on 19 August.

Relief supplies came in to St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in London which donated them to aid recipient and distributors the Kolo Srspkih Sestara in Doboj. HRH Princess Katarina Karadjordjevic, parish priest Protojerej Stavrofor оtac Goran Spaic, Sandra Sumonja and Ljubinka Rajic were at hand throughout the five days to tirelessly box, weigh and label aid packages. Some three days were spent getting the paper work right with the Bosnian Embassy and shipping. Special thanks goes out to Serbian Embassy personnel Emilija Marinkov, Neda Milisavljevic and Sasa Uzelac, and particularly to Svetozar Miletic, Minister Counsellor of the Bosnian Embassy in London.
Delamode International Logistics arranged shipment with the invaluable help of co-owner John Shirley who deserves special mention - John is a very able Serbian speaker having completed Slavic studies. Volunteers came by to help in bucket-loads, among them Zeljko Vranes, Vasilije Spaic, Predrag Obrenovic, Milan Rajic, and driver Sinisa Sever. Church administrator Tanya Ketteringham also deserves special mention for her invaluable help. A big thank you goes to Ljubinka Rajic for providing photos.
