Vidovdan in Birmingham

On 28 June, the great feast day of Vidovdan, the children of the Serbian Supplementary and Church School “Saint Sava” had the honour of being guests of our brothers and sisters in Birmingham.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our dear hosts for their warm welcome, generous hospitality and the love they showed us. Thanks to them, we all felt truly at home.

Together, we marked Vidovdan with dignity — a feast day that reminds us of faith, unity, sacrifice and the importance of preserving our identity.

The greatest joy of the day was our children, who, through their participation, singing and smiles, made the occasion even more special and showed how important it is to nurture our tradition and sense of togetherness, wherever we may live.

Our heartfelt thanks once again to our hosts for a wonderful day that we will remember for a long time. May gatherings such as this continue to unite us for many years to come in love, faith and harmony.
