Church reopening - 13th June 2020
The decision of the Government of the United Kingdom of 13th June 2020 allows the opening of churches for individual prayers. This means that you are able to visit the church, light up candles and stay in prayer for a while.
Everyone who would like to come to the Church of St. Sava can do so on weekdays, from Monday to Friday, during office hours from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00.
The following legal measures of the UK government must be implemented in the church:
1. People with Covid-19 symptoms not to attend church
2. Use hand sanitiser upon entry
3. Keep social distance of 2m
These are measures that will last until July 4, 2020, when people will be allowed to attend the Holy Liturgies with the implementation of all legal measures.
Baptisms and weddings can also be organized after July 4 with a limited number of people present at the ceremony.
