"Where are you, Adam" film screening will take place on Sunday 2nd November 2025 at 12.00pm in the Bishop Nikolaj Hall (89 Lancaster Road, London, W11 1QQ). This is a film about monastic life of Monastery Dochiariu on Mount Athos. Admission is free, donations are welcome.  

Born on April 1st, 1749, in the village of Njegusi, he became a monk at the age of twelve. After the death of Metropolitan Sava in 1782, Peter became Metropolitan and Governor of Montenegro. This holy man devoted his whole life to his people.

Within Montenegro, he worked with his whole strength to pacify the warring tribes, and externally he defended the land and the people against plundering onslaughts, succeeding in both the one and the other. He is especially famed for his victory over Napoleon"s army in Dalmatia. He was strict with himself, and just and humble towards others. He lived in one tiny cell as a simple monk, although he was governor of a people. He entered into rest on October 18th, 1830, and his wonderworking relics are preserved uncorrupt in the monastery of Cetinje. The Lord glorified him in heaven and on earth as His true and patient servant.

Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Radomir Aćimović was born on Vidovdan (St. Vitus Day) in 1944 near Čačak. Since September 1995, he had served in our London parish, having come from Derby. Together with Father Milun and the late Dragan Stepković, he led spiritual discussions every Thursday in our community, leaving a deep and lasting impression among the faithful. He was married to the late Presbytera Radmila, with whom he had two daughters. In the peace of faith and gratitude, we remember him with love and pray that the Lord grant rest to his soul in the dwellings of the righteous.

The funeral will be on November 1, 2025. After the Divine Liturgy, which begins at 10:00, the funeral rite (opelo) will be held at 11:30 at the Church of St Sava in London. The burial will take place at Brookwood Cemetery at 14:00.
